Key takeaways
To add a mortgage calculator to a HighLevel funnel or website, drop a Custom JS/HTML element onto the page, paste the snippet from your PrequalFunnel Embed tab, save and preview. Leads save to PrequalFunnel's CRM on every plan; to push them into a HighLevel workflow, add an Inbound Webhook trigger on Producer or Brokerage.
The steps describe HighLevel's funnel and website builder as of October 2026; the same element exists in both.
In your PrequalFunnel dashboard, open the calculator's Embed tab, choose Inline and copy the snippet.
In HighLevel, open the funnel or website and edit the step or page where the calculator should appear.
Add a row and column if needed, then add the Custom JS/HTML (code) element from the elements panel.
Open the element's code editor, paste the full snippet, save the element and save the page. Use preview or the live step URL to see the calculator.
On the live step, run a calculation and submit the lead form with your own details. Check your PrequalFunnel CRM and, if connected, the workflow's execution log.
Placeholders show the shape. Copy the exact snippet from the Embed tab in your dashboard; it is the source of truth.

Without a webhook, the lead is saved in PrequalFunnel's built-in CRM and you get an email alert; that works on every plan. To create or update the contact in HighLevel and start a workflow, you need Producer or Brokerage.
In HighLevel, create a workflow with the Inbound Webhook trigger and copy its URL. In PrequalFunnel, add that URL as a webhook, for all calculators or for this one only. Then submit a test lead from the live funnel step. HighLevel shows the received payload in the trigger, including contact details, every input and result, and the UTM and click-ID fields, so you can map them to contact and custom fields.
The full field list is on the HighLevel integration page.
Pick the mode that suits the step.
| Funnel step | Mode | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Opt-in or landing step | Inline | The calculator is the offer; the lead form is the opt-in |
| Thank-you step | Popup button | A next step for people who already opted in elsewhere |
| Website pages | Floating bubble | Always one tap away on every page |
| Existing HighLevel button | Your own button (trigger) | Keep your design; the button opens the calculator |
| SMS and email | Direct link | No embed needed; open a full-page calculator |
Usually not. A HighLevel form next to the calculator captures a name and email without the numbers, and borrowers who fill one rarely fill both. Let the calculator's lead form be the opt-in, and use the webhook to create the contact in HighLevel. Keep your NMLS ID, Equal Housing Opportunity statement and approved TCPA consent wording visible on the step, and check with your compliance team or counsel.
Check the step first, then the webhook.
The canvas may not run scripts. Preview the step or open its live URL.
Use a full-width row and one column, or switch to the popup button mode.
Check the webhook URL, that the workflow is published, and that your plan is Producer or Brokerage. The lead is never lost; it stays in the CRM.
Inputs and results differ by calculator. Send a fresh test lead from the calculator you are routing and remap.

Yes. The same Custom JS/HTML element is available in websites. The Floating bubble works well site-wide.
The lead is still saved in PrequalFunnel's CRM and you still get the email alert, so nothing is lost while you fix the workflow.
